Content Manager

We are looking for a creative, reliable, and organized Social Media Content Creator & Coordinator who can help us produce engaging content, strengthen our online presence, and turn social media attention into website traffic and sales.

This is not strictly a strategy position. We need someone who can actively create content, including filming products, editing short-form videos, taking photographs, writing captions, and scheduling posts.

Responsibilities

The contractor will be responsible for planning, creating, and coordinating organic social media content for Jekker’s Protectors.

Typical responsibilities will include:

Planning a monthly social media content calendar.
Attending approximately two content-creation sessions per month in the Grand Rapids area.
Filming and editing short-form videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook, TikTok, and other appropriate platforms.
Creating product photographs, carousel posts, graphics, and story content.
Writing engaging, accurate, and brand-appropriate captions.
Scheduling approved content.
Developing content around products, collecting trends, new releases, promotions, and customer interests.
Repurposing one piece of content into multiple formats when appropriate.
Monitoring basic comments and engagement within an agreed scope.
Identifying opportunities to improve website traffic, product awareness, and sales.
Providing a brief monthly performance report explaining what performed well, what did not, and what should be tested next.

The initial expected monthly content package will be approximately:

10–12 edited short-form videos.
6–8 static or carousel posts.
Recurring story content.
Two local content-creation sessions.
One monthly content calendar.
One monthly performance report.

The exact deliverables may be adjusted based on the contractor’s proposed package and experience.
